Social Network Book Tag

This tag was created by Faultydevices on YouTube and although originally is a tag for booktubers, I thought I would give it a go on my blog! I have dedicated this tag to promoting books with little hype.

TWITTER: A book you want to share with the world:
Ways to Live Forever by Sally Nicholls
This is one of the first YA books I remember reading and since then I have re-read it so many times! As much as I love The Fault in Our Stars, this is the original cancer inspirational story. Ways to Live Forever follows two boys, both diagnosed with cancer, and their quest to complete their bucket list before they die. This book is inspirational and has no where near the hype they deserve.

FACEBOOK: A book you really enjoyed that was recommended by someone else:
The Truth about Celia Frost by Paula Rawsthorne
A friend recommended me this book a while book and I knew nothing about it. I dived into it straight away and I have no regrets! This book is very unusual and has an immense amount of mystery and thriller and I loved it!

TUMBLR: A book you read before Booktube but haven't raved much about on your book blog:
When Hitler stole Pink Rabbit by Judith Kerr
This was a read from a VERY long time ago and it has still stayed with me. This is a true historical novel following a young girl living during World War 2. Her Father, writes articles against Hitler so the story follows her childhood fleeing his wrath.

MYSPACE: A book you don't plan on re - reading:
Candor by Pam Bachorz
From the basic structure of the plot, this book had potential to be phenomenal! However, it very much did not live up to the expectations. The writing was simple with no mystery created and the ending very much disappointing.

INSTAGRAM: A book with a gorgeous, picture worthy cover:
The Isobel Journal by Isobel Harrop
For this one, I didn't just chose The Isobel Journal because of the cover, but because of all the illustrations included. The lively illustrations add life and character to the book making it not only a stunning piece of literature but a brilliant work of art too!

YOUTUBE: A book which you wish would be made into a movie:
Girl Missing by Sophie McKenzie
With a fantastic plot, loveable characters and a large amount of action and mystery, this book would be the perfect movie. (HINT, HINT movie producers)

SKYPE: Characters you wish you could talk to:
Dandelion Clocks by Rebecca Westcott
This story is really touching and the main character, Liv, is absolutely inspirational. I would love to be able to chat to Liv and talk about her experiences and just tell her how brave she is and how much I love her.
