The process is always different with every story I write. For instance, when writing the characters I don’t always have a picture in my mind of a particular person. In the case of When Destinies Collide, I knew immediately what both Drake and Selene looked like in my mind. I’m a huge fan of the TV show Arrow on The CW network. As I wrote the first few chapters, I realized that I definitely had a specific look I was describing for Drake. The more I wrote the more he came to life. It happened with each character until the story was complete. Both Drake and Selene were created with two characters from Arrow in mind. As a writer, we’re often asked who we imagine would play each character if our book was turned into a movie, below is a list of who my dream cast would be if it were to happen.
