October Wrap Up

What did I read this month?

This month, I finished reading a total of four books. Firstly, I read The Elites by Natasha Ngan which was an ARC I received from the author. I also read The Mysteries of the Magical Horse by P J Flynn as part of the blog tour. Check out my stop here. For my two books I read for the Spinebreaker programme, I read; Command and Control by Eric Schlosser and How I live Now by Meg Rosoff. I am now currently reading The 100 by Kass Morgan.

What books did I get this month?

Wow! I got a lot of books this month. Firstly, I won a prize over on the Mira Ink Facebook Page where I had to submit a picture of a pet and a book. My bunny Bingo won it for me and I received a great bag of books that included:
* Touch of Power by Maria V Snyder
* Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter
* Spellbound by Cara Lynn Shultz
* Speechless by Hannah Harrington
* Dare you to by Katie McGarry
* The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa
* The Girl in the steel corset by Kady Cross
* The Girl in the Clockwork Collar by Kady Cross
* An amazing Book Geek Tote Bag!

Here is the picture of my bunny that won me the competition:

I also received 12 books this month for review. These were either from publishers, authors or the Spinebreaker programme.

The last books I got this month were ones I purchased. Both these books were bargains that I spotted at the Poundshop - who would have thought?!

What videos have I been loving this month?

What other things have been going on this month?
  • I signed up to NaNoWriMo! Yay! I'm so excited to begin this. My novel I am going to write is called "Me, Myself and Skye". Check my progress here.
  • If you haven't noticed, my blog has been under a bit of a change. Many thanks to Laura from Music Plus Books, my blog is being redesigned. Look at my new logo:
